In the last few months, DMA Group has provided career transition coaching and outplacement support to five departing professionals in the IT security industry, whose roles had been made redundant due to global restructuring. All were sponsored on two-month career advancement programmes and DMA Group was asked to facilitate.
Within three-months, all five participants have re-established themselves in great new roles, aligned with their career objectives identified earlier on in their programmes. Some of the participants had achieved this within just six weeks and one of them had the following to say:
"The coaching sessions with Ross were incredibly helpful. He gave me confidence during a time in my life when nothing made sense and I felt full of regressions and hopelessness. He walked with me through the journey step by step, helping me create a detailed CV and a DISC report that clearly explained my character in the corporate world.
I informed him about the interviews I had over the past two months, which were challenging, and he guided me with his skills on how to secure a good job, including negotiation skills and how to choose the right offer. One thing that really stuck with me was his encouragement not to view retrenchment as a downfall but as a different direction in one’s career.
